BIO
Jay Weinstein is a New York based, Culinary Institute of America (CIA)-trained chef, food writer, editor, culinary instructor, and author. He’s a veteran of America’s finest kitchens, including New York’s Le Bernardin, Boston’s Jasper, and The Four Seasons Hotel. His food writings have been featured in The New York Times, Travel & Leisure, Newsday, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, and numerous other publications. His latest book, The Everything Easy Vegetarian Cookbook, came out in January 2015. His 2006 book, The Ethical Gourmet, focuses on ecologically sustainable fine foods. Jay was a chef-instructor at The Natural Gourmet Center in New York City. His QuickStudy Guide to Herbs and Spices came out in late 2018.
