BIO

Alexandra started her first food blog in 2009 while studying English Literature in college. It was the perfect way to combine her passions for food, writing, and photography. At her first job at NYC’s Natural Gourmet Institute, she finally got to utilize her love for food on a professional level. It was there she also learned the art of plant-based cooking, holistic nutrition, and sustainability. Since 2017, Alexandra has been a “solopreneur” – apart from writing her blog, The New Baguette, she works as a recipe developer, cookbook author, food photographer, and food photography instructor.
