As the flavors of Mexico continue to pique the interest of those searching for new and exciting flavors, the spotlight is shining brightly on Oaxaca, Mexico’s richest region for cultural cuisine. Three of the unique specialties of Oaxaca are mezcal, the original agave-based spirit; chapulines, the traditional snack of spiced grasshoppers; and chocolate, stone-ground cacao beans with sugar and spices.
