Nuts for Pops
Summer is coming and what better way to cool off than a pop with a nutty twist. Nuts and seeds are finding their starring role in desserts. Their rich and crunchy texture brings out the best in a wide range of sweet finishes. ICE Dean of Pastry and Baking, Andrea Tutunjian, knows nuts inside and out - she wrote the book, "In a Nutshell: Cooking and Baking with Nuts and Seeds", along with ICE Instructor Cara Tannenbaum. This class lets the book's refreshing and delicious bars and pops shine. Here are a few of the pops and bars you'll make: Rice Pudding Bars; Chocolate Pudding Bars; Strawberry Shortcake Push Pops; Raspberry White Chocolate Chip Bars; Toasted Almond Ice Pops; Coconut Ice Pops; Orange-Hazelnut Cream Bars; Cherry Vanilla Ice Pops; and Rum Raisin Pops.
